This fly control system attracts horse flies, deer flies, greenheads, and yellow-flies. When set up in the sun, the black ball absorbs and emits heat which mimics an ideal target (large animal) for  female horse flies. Once on the ball, the flies attempt to bit and when not successful, they fly up into the funnel and into the collection bin where they are unable to escape.
